M.I.A. Releases Second ‘Matangi’ Single, ‘Come Walk With Me’

Written by Sarah Bella on September 3, 2013

M.I.A. has released the second single, Come Walk With Me, from her upcoming fourth studio album Matangi. The ever-controversial rapper revealed a minute-long snippet of Come Walk With Me on Monday, with the full track leaking online yesterday, but we now have the official release today.

The cut from upcoming album Matangi, studio album number four from the 38-year-old, starts off in a pretty laidback fashion but manages to finds its feet eventually, although it’s definitely a more accessible offering than anything we’ve heard from the Paper Planes star before.

Matangi, the follow-up to 2010’s Maya, has had its fair share of problems, with multiple delays from M.I.A.’s record label and threats from the artist herself to simply leak the whole thing, but the LP has finally been given an international release date of 4th November.
