Of Mice & Men Will Release A New Album, Announce “Many Tours” This Year

Of Mice & Men have revealed that the follow-up to their 2014 album Restoring Force will be released later this year.

Bassist and clean vocalist Aaron Pauley announced the good news via Twitter, proclaiming: “The world will have a new OM&M album in 2016.”

Pauley also added that the US metalcore kings – who last toured Australia in 2015 as part of the (seemingly final ever) Soundwave festival – would be touring heavily this year.

“There will be many tours in 2016!” the slapper said.

Aaron’s bandmate Austin Carlile underwent major hip surgery last week, and took to Facebook to give fans a rundown of the op.

“[Doctors] had to shave down my actual hip socket (due to its massive over growth), remove my femur, remove three cysts from femur, shave & RE-SHAPE femur, and THEN sew me back up,” he said. “I’ve been on total bed rest ever since and will be for another week or so.”

It caps off a rough trot for the frontman who copped severe electrical burns after being electrocuted by a microphone last September.

But it doesn’t look likely to stop him from grabbing 2016 by the proverbials.

Fingers crossed an OM&M Australian tour will be on the cards.
