Missy Higgins Wins ARIA For Best Music Video

Missy Higgins‘ music video for single Everyone’s Waiting has taken out the ARIA for Best Video ahead of the award ceremony, which takes place this Thursday, November 29. The video was directed by Natasha Pincus, who took out the award last year for Gotye’s Somebody That I Used to Know.

As reported by triple j, the back-to-back ARIA Award-winning Pincus took out the title despite some promising contenders. Music videos from Hilltop Hoods, 360, Lanie Lane and Hermitude were all vying for the prize.

This year’s ARIA Award for Best Video was decided by public vote. If you’re unfamiliar with the clip, you can check it out below. Everyone’s Waiting is lifted from 2012 album The Ol’ Razzle Dazzle, the first studio album from Higgins in five years.
