Mountain Mocha Kilimanjaro Announce Australian Tour

Written by Daniel Clarke on November 24, 2009

Funk fans down under get ready to witness the Mountain Mocha Kilimanjaro live experience as the serious Saitama six-piece embark on a run of dates across Australia that include Woodford Festival, Peats Ridge Festival, Sydney Festival, Mona Foma and The Basement.

Well dressed and slick but playing some of the rawest and deepest funk that would shake anyone’s booty, added with the furious energy of a rock and roll band, these amazing gentlemen have toured relentlessly across clubs of all sizes in Japan, as well as rocking a packed house at Fuji Rock Festival 2008 and countless festivals across the planet.

They have built a reputation as one of the finest funk units kicking it today. Signed to the prestigious P-Vine label in Japan, and also confirming a release through the highly regarded Jazzman label, these young groove merchants are bound to take on the world. And your soul.
