UPDATE: Mountain Sounds has now made its first full lineup announcement for 2018.
ORIGINAL STORY: New South Wales’ Mountain Sounds Festival has announced big plans for its fifth year, expanding to three days for the very first time and announcing the first act confirmed for its forthcoming shenanigans.
The festival will go down over two days and three nights in February, and will also include a newly integrated camping and festival site within the Penang Gardens, complete with power and hot showers.
What’s more, Californian alt-rock band Grouplove have been announced as the first act on the lineup, after they pulled out of their appearance at Falls Festival last year.
This year’s Mountain Sounds Festival lineup featured the likes of Dune Rats, RÜFÜS, DMA’s, Hermitude and Ngaiire. The full 2018 lineup is set to be revealed on Tuesday, 19th September.
