Music Feeds LIVE: Portugal. The Man Streaming This Tuesday

Portland’s own Portugal. The Man will be very far from home when they set down in Australia and blare out their pristine psych rock at Music Feeds Studio on Tuesday 23rd July.

The band will be in the country to perform at Splendour In the Grass 2013 on Friday, 26th July. Their scheduled appearance in Byron Bay is not the only reason you’ve heard a lot of PTM chatter, however, as the band’s recent LP, Evil Friends, has been making waves since its release.

The album was produced by the ridiculously talented and overachieving Danger Mouse (Gnarls Barkley, The Black Keys, Broken Bells) who’s fingerprints have been delicately placed across each tune. Music Feed’s reviewer Kate Fitzpatrick had this to say about the LP:

Evil Friends is a beautiful, diverse melting pot of all of your favourite things about music and is set to be one of the best releases of 2013. It is evidence to support the popular myth that everything Danger Mouse touches turns to gold.
