MxPx Announce Australian Tour March 2013

Punk rock veterans MxPx are all set to tour Australia in the beginning of autumn next year. The Washington three-piece has just been announced as one of the international headlining acts for Forest Edge Music Festival 2013, which takes place from March 8 to 10. Taking advantage of their festival booking, MxPx are flying in early for a handful of headlining shows in Brisbane, Sydney and Adelaide, before making the trek to Melbourne.

Back in April MxPx released their first studio album in five years, with Plans Within Plans being hailed as a return to form for the band being described by Punknews.org as, “A 35-minute blast from the past…the most energetic, exciting, cohesive and effortless sounding album the band has released since the late 90s.”

MxPx recently unveiled their latest video clip for current single Aces Up as Mike Herrera and co are currently enjoying 20 years of activity. Tickets for the upcoming tour are $44 + bf and are available from metropolistouring.com, halomusic.com.au and the venues, and are ON SALE 9am Wednesday, 31st October
