Sydney duo Nantes have announced plans to end a steller year in style. To match up with the release of their forthcoming single Drones, Nantes have locked in a cheeky 3-date run down the East Coast where fans can expect to hear tunage from the debut album.
It’s the only real way that a band who has had so much success in 2012 can see out the year. Already singles from their recent two EPs gained traction not only with high triple j rotation, but also on college radio through the States and scoring positions on the CMJ College Radio Charts. Tracks Fly, Unsatisfy, Charlie and others featured on the releases have scored the gang an intimidating league of supports throughout the country.
Now, with those boxes ticked, the band turn their sights to their debut album, shacking up in a Sydney studio with producer Simon Todkill. With a release date penciled in at early 2013, fans will only need to wait until November 2 to hear Drones, with shows in Brissy, Sydney and Melbourne soon after.
