Rejoice, former kids of MySpace! Because one of your fave bands, Never Shout Never, are heading down under with a setlist chockas with some of their sweet-ass nostalgic tunes.
The American rockers are bringing their Throwback Tour our way this November and December for a solid national run, playing a handful of 18+ only dates in Perth, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane and Sydney.
They’ll be performing all the tunes off their The Yippee and Me & My Uke EPs, and also taking fan requests (!!!).
“Hello friends Down Under! We are very excited to announce that we are bringing the Throwback Tour to Australia,” the dudes say in a statement.
“We will be playing songs from all the early albums and EPs. This tour is a celebration of ten years of writing and playing music. We’ve always had an amazing time going to Australia.. from the food the beautiful animals.. dunno bout the snakes or spiders haha. Slightly terrifying.
“Anyways, come hang out looking forward to seeing your beautiful souls. Let’s have a good time and also celebrate peace on earth! We will be the generation to bring about love for all! Peace to you; hope to see you soon!!!”
While the man who started it all, Christofer Drew adds: “This Throwback Tour has allowed us to rediscover songs we haven’t played in forever and see what those songs mean to us now after everything that we’ve been through, because we’ve been through a lot as a band and a lot as people.”
