New Found Glory Have Started Work On Their Ninth Album

US rock band New Found Glory are back in the studio working on the follow-up to their 2014 record Resurrection.

The band took to social media to post a few snaps of them working on the new record.

“Cookin up some sweet tunes today,” they wrote on one photo on Instagram, adding on another that “pre-pro” for the new album was “underway”.

This record will be the second album the band have recorded since the departure of guitarist Steve Klein in 2013. Klein was arraigned on child pornography and lewd conduct felonies and subsequently parted ways with the boys.

They returned in 2014 with Resurrection and later toured the album in Australia, joining Soundwave Festival in 2015.

It’s unknown what direction they will head in on this album or when we can expect it but it’s exciting news to know that they’re at least working on it.

They currently don’t have any tour dates booked for 2016, so they’ve got plenty of time to work on it.
