Nine Inch Nails Make Debut Network TV Appearance, Play Cuts From ‘Hesitation Marks’

Written by Tom Williams on November 9, 2013

Playing an outdoor stage on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, industrial rock juggernauts Nine Inch Nails have made their network television debut. The band played cuts from their recently released eighth studio album Hesitation Marks, such as the tracks Various Methods of Escape and All Time Low, which you can watch below.

NIN were measured but strong in their approach to an outdoor stage crowded by fans of Kimmel’s show (and no doubt of the band themselves). Frontman Trent Reznor provided a typically gritty performance, backed by an ever-talented band of singers and multi-instrumentalists.

Reznor recently commented on the 2014 Soundwave Festival lineup – which his band was excluded from – saying that he didn’t feel that “Soundwave was the right vibe for us or our fans”. He promised something in place of this, and the band have come good, recently announcing a national tour alongside Queens Of The Stone Age. Check out all the tour details here and NIN’s epic Jimmy Kimmel Live! performances below.
