Nine Inch Nails Release Studio Version Of New Track ‘Copy Of A’

Having played the track at numerous festival performance in recent weeks, Nine Inch Nails have now released a studio recording of the brand new track Copy Of A. The track now joins the recent single Come Back Haunted as the first samples of the band’s upcoming album Hesitation Marks.

NIN have kicked off many of their recent sets with Copy Of A, such as their Fuji Rock performance, so it was clearly a matter of time before a studio version made its way online. Copy Of A first popped up as a free download on UK’s Amazon, though eventually made it to YouTube.

This isn’t the only new track to be getting a good road testing, Disappointed has made its way onto the bands setlist, as well as Find My Way. Come Back Haunted still remains the only official single, with a David Lynch-directed clip and all.

NIN also recently revealed that four exclusive tracks featuring some big name collaborations would be made available on the deluxe edition of Hesitation Marks. These will include three remixes by rock and roll legend Todd Rundgren, Genesis P-Orridge of industrial progenitors Throbbing Gristle and experimental artist Oneohtrix Point Never.

We may just have to wait until the official street date of Friday, 30th August for another taste of the record.
