This Nirvana Fan’s 1998 Pro Iceskating Routine To ‘Smells Like Teen Spirit’ Is Insane

Nirvana‘s Smells Like Teen Spirit was one of those songs that changed the face of music forever.

Released in September of 1991, the iconic grunge anthem officially celebrates its 25th anniversary this month and as a result, a vintage clip that features a dude named Scott Williams performing a professional iceskating routine to the classic Nevermind tune has caught the internet’s attention.

And with good reason. This video is so next-level insane that you won’t believe it happened IRL and not in Blades Of Glory.

Who knows, maybe it even inspired Blades Of Glory?

In a scene that could easily be mistaken for the climactic finale of a rock n’ roll iceskating version of a flick like Strictly Ballroom, Happy Gilmore or Sister Act 2, grunge badass Williams confounds the judges at the touring 1998 Champions On Ice show with his unconventional choreography, miraculously pulling off some mind-blowing D-moves like mid-air splits and barrel rolls without even ripping his acid wash jeans or losing his bandana. #HeadbangersBaller.

Here it is now, to entertain you.
