No Doubt Won’t Be Doing Soundwave 2013

Written by Kiel Egging on July 21, 2012

Bad news for those of you hoping No Doubt would be part of Soundwave 2013 – they won’t be.

Soundwave organsier AJ Maddah replied to a fan’s tweet about the rumours of the band being on the festival’s lineup in 2013 – confirming he tried to get them for Soundwave, but to no avail (see tweet below).

Punters thought the band were ‘highly likely’ to be part of the lineup after Maddah revealed they would be touring Australia soon in support of their forthcoming album Push and Shove , which is out in September. They released their first single in almost a decadeSettle Down – earlier this week.

Alas, No Doubt have now been put straight to the top of our ‘ruled out’ list in the Soundwave 2013 Lineup + Rumours thread. You can check out the list here.
