NYE On The Harbour 2011 Line up, Tickets & Info

NYE On The Harbour has announced a line up for it’s 2011 New Years Eve party. Set against the stunning backdrop of Sydney Harbour at Cargo Bar & Lounge, this year they have enlisted a top shelf line up of local and international talent to provide the soundtrack to yet another killer New Years Eve on the Harbour.

Bringing their scorching live show to Cargo are world-wide infused, eclectic-pop sensations Architecture in Helsinki. Constantly stunning packed main stage audiences at festivals and shows the world over and with four incredible albums in their assault; AIH show no sign of slowing down anytime soon. Their latest album ‘Moment Bends’ is successfully storming the charts and coupled with a massive tour seeing them zigzag across the best parts of Europe and America, has stamped their place as a well known and much loved fixture on the Australian & International music landscape.

Ultra-cool festival demi-Gods the Yacht Club DJS have mastered the art of melting together all the best elements of dancefloor tomfoolery – with mashes of dance, disco, electro and hip hop, all concocted with skilful smooth as silk production. The outcome- incendiary sets at festivals across the globe played to hordes of eager and excited patrons. After gracing the Parklife stages across the country with their fiery performances, they’re bringing their mash-up master class to Cargo for this exclusive Sydney show.

DJ, Producer and Audio- visual extraordinaire, Sampology, has turned spinning records into an art form, combining sound and vision to create a multimedia sensation. Playing a slew of club and festival slots both locally and internationally; Sydney Festival, Groovin The Moo, Big Chill (UK), Big Day Out and Parklife to name a few, this technical whizz-kid is a much welcomed and anticipated addition to this year’s NYE on the Harbour.

With Live shows on both sides of the Atlantic alongside Hot Chip, Leftfield, Sleigh Bells, The Drums, Cut Copy and SebastiAn, Record of the Week on BBC 1 and tipped by everyone from NME to The Guardian – internationals French Horn Rebellion are more than qualified to ring in the New Year. With their self titled debut album filled to the brim with layered and intricate happy dance beats- Cargo is guaranteed to be off the stilts and moving well into the early hours of New Years Day.

2011 has been a hectic year for elite party collective the Sosueme DJs. With appearances at Splendour, Future Music, Field Day, Good Vibrations and a massive national tour under their belt, the 3 of them have been desecrating dance floors the country over, fast becoming festival favourites for those in the know.

Breakthrough local superstar Luke Million may not be a familiar name, but we bet his smash hit track ‘Arnold’ is. With immense presence throughout club-land & blogs world-wide and the subsequent fever pitch frenzy of requests on the airwaves, we welcome his presence with open arms to New Years on the Harbour for a bit of “down… UP. Down… UP”.

Stay tuned in coming weeks with more headliners and local acts still to be announced.
