Could Oasis Be Reuniting At Ariana Grande’s Manchester Benefit Gig?

There’s speculation brewing that Oasis will finally be reuniting for a benefit gig in their hometown of Manchester.

Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus and more are due to perform in Manchester this week to raise money for the victims of the Manchester terror attack but fans are speculating that there’s someone else playing.

It’s all stemming from a tweet by Black Eyed Peas MC Taboo, of all people. He’s due to play and he sent out a tweet tagging all the other artists on the bill, including Oasis.

He’s quickly deleted the tweet and said that it was a “human error” but it seems odd that you’d accidentally include the band.

Admittedly, there are a few road blocks to this rumour. There’s the issue that brother Noel and Liam Gallagher don’t speak anymore and there’s also a scheduling conflict because Liam is playing in Germany on the same night.

The two countries aren’t far from each other but it would be a pretty busy night for him if he were to commit to both.

Speaking with BBC Radio 1, Liam shut the rumour down saying, “Mate, I don’t think so. I mean, I’m up for it but I think we’re booked for a gig somewhere.”

He did also say though that he has “unfinished business” with the band.

Liam played his first solo gig the other night in Manchester, playing Oasis classics alongside new songs off a forthcoming solo record.

While we wait to see whether this happens or not, enjoy Liam’s first solo single ‘Wall Of Glass’.
