Odd Future and 2manydjs announce sideshows

Written by Michael Carr on May 6, 2011

Selling out all three of their forthcoming Vivid performances in 20mins, OFWGKTA aka Odd Future have announced two extra shows in Australia in Melbourne and Brisbane as part of their June tour. If you’ve been in a coma or living in the middle of the jungle for the last year, Odd Future have fast become one of the hottest commodities in the music industry, going from almost complete obscurity to performing on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon in the space of a few months. Here’s a great interview with the groups driving force Tyler The Creator if you want to find out more.

Their Australian shows follow on from show stealing performances at SxSW as well as a riot inducing performance at Camden Crawl, and if you’re one of the many people who missed out on tickets to the Sydney shows, it might be time to load up the car and hit the road as I guarantee they won’t ever be playing venues this small again.

In other Vivid sideshow news Belgian masters of the mash-up 2manydjs have also announced an extra show off the back of their sold-out Vivid shows, playing at the Prince Bandroom in Melbourne along with Bamboo Musik and Andee Frost.
