OK Go Launch Competition To Direct Their Video For ‘I’m Not Through’

American alternative rockers OK Go have launched a competition in conjunction with Saatchi & Saatchi, Talenthouse and BUG, asking emerging filmmakers to create a clip for their forthcoming video effort to sync with I’m Not Through.

The premise behind the competition is to shine a spotlight on the rising stars of filmmaking. 10 finalists will be selected with the winner being decided by a panel of judges at the end of May. The results will be announced via Talenthouse’s official website. The winner will not only score an invite to visit Cannes Lions, but will also receive bragging rights as well as a worthy addition to their resume.

OK Go have a serious knack for making dope clips so the final product is sure to be nothing short of, well, dopeness. The band have teamed up with a bevy of cohorts for the competition including global creative platform Talenthouse as well as the well recognised music video production tea from BUG and of course Saatchi & Saatchi who have worked on previous competitions with outstanding results.

There will also be a peoples choice winner, who will be elected based on a public voting system.

Details on how to enter can be found after the jump.

I’m Not Through will find it’s way onto the bands impending fourth studio effort which has an expected street date of February 2014.
