KoRn’s former guitarist Brian ‘Head’ Welch has joined his former bandmates on stage over the weekend to perform the band’s classic intro track Blind, taken from their self-titled debut album. Welch had left the band in 2005 to become a born again Christian, after admitting he wasn’t happy with his life of drug and alcohol abuse.
According to Loudwire, frontman Jonathan Davis announced to the crowd: “For a long ass time, this spot right here has been very lonely – very very lonely”, just as the intro to Blind started, before bringing out Welch and saying, “I want to bring out one of my truest and oldest and most beloved friends to come out and have some fun with this. You guys ready? My boyyyyyyy!”
Welch is currently playing with his new band Love and Death. The band’s debut EP Chemicals has just been released, while an album is planned for late 2012.
