Paul McCartney Releases Mark Ronson-Produced Single ‘New’ From Upcoming Album

The legendary Paul McCartney is making damn sure people can distinguish between his current material and his older releases. Today sees the release of New, the first single to be released from his new album, which you will find is also titled New. Not old. New.

It shouldn’t be a surprise that New the single is about as catchy as the flu. The non-threatening jam features plenty of oohs and ahhs, showing that the ex-Beatle hasn’t lost his touch in the 6 years it’s been since he released new material. Inb4 diehards – Kisses On The Bottom may have been released in 2012, but it contained reworked and covered material, not originals. So nerrr.

New the album was produced by the iconic Mark Ronson, which will be immediately apparent once you check out the below track. It’s been slapped with an international release date of Monday, 14th October, making this the second full-length release from McCartney in as many years.

Now let’s get pumped for Macca’s Australian tour which definitely almost definitely we’re hoping will be announced soon.
