Peking Duk’s ‘State Of Origin’ Performance Draws Mixed Reviews

Aussie electro-pop duo Peking Duk have drawn mixed reviews (and some confused looks) for their performance at the first State Of Origin match of 2018.

Performing at the MCG before the big game — in which (WARNING: ORIGIN SPOILERS) New South Wales Blues beat Queensland (for once) — Peking Duk’s Adam Hyde and Reuben Styles knocked out two of their biggest hits.

While there was only a small crowd in front of the stage — which is typical for these kind of performances — the Duk’s show did feature a cameo from singer Michaela Baranov on the track ‘Stranger’, and a (probably unnecessary) flaming guitar.

Some viewers were confused by the Duk’s appearance, or didn’t think Origin was the best place for the duo…
