Poison City Weekender Fest Returns In 2016 With Rip Snorter Of A Lineup

Poison City Weekender Fest has confirmed its triumphant return for 2016. Now in its eight – count ’em, 8 – year, the event, as always promises to celebrate Australia’s independent, underground and DIY music community across three days of bliss.

Organisers have gone above and beyond the call of duty with this year’s line up. National heroes Totally Unicorn, High Tension and The Bennies will be making the effort. Local legends Batpiss, Camp Cope and Horror My Friend will also be throwing down.

Making the trek down from the US will be international flavour Rozewell Kid, Cayetana and Creative Adult.

All the action will be going down across three of Melbourne’s most cherished venues; Max Watts, the Corner Hotel which will be home to an Under 18’s event and The Reverence which will see out the event with a huge “all-in” show on the Sunday.

The event does offer all-inclusive ticketing bundles including the aptly named Weekender Fest 3 Show Pass which comes with A2 screen printed poster and Weekender Fest t-shirt. Worth it.
