Police Seach Rick Ross’ Boat After Smelling Weed

Rick Ross is making the most of the free time he has now that he isn’t performing at Supafest. According to TMZ, cops searched his boat in Florida after a Fish and Wildlife Conservation officer noticed a strong smell of weed coming from the boat. They didn’t find anything and no one was charged; however, police told TMZ that a member of Ross’s crew admitted to throwing the green overboard before police searched the vessel.

Ross was advertised on the Supafest bill for months, but when the festival kicked off in Brisbane last weekend, Ross wasn’t even in Australia. He was later spotted at a basketball game in Miami and his management issued a statement the following day that said the Supafest promoters had failed to pay his fee.

P. Diddy and Missy Elliot also failed to perform, despite being advertised on the lineup for months.

The final show of Supafest 2012 is being held in Melbourne tonight.
