Police Storm Sydney Opera House Stage During Royal Headache Show

Police brought Royal Headache’s Sydney Opera House show to a halt last night after they stormed on stage to clear out punters who began to climb the stage during the bands performance of Down The Lane. According to themusic, the band encouraged fans with singer Shogun handing the mic to a fan who completed the song’s vocals.

A witness told themusic it was “just an outpouring of excitement and emotion” from fans who had previously been dancing in the aisles at the front of the stage.

According to reports, more members of the crowd joined the fans on the stage during the following song, at this point police and security rushed the stage.

The band then tried to leave the stage, a witness said singer Shogun yelled in the mic, “Thank you and goodnight, I don’t want to see my friends punched in the head by a bunch of fucking pigs. Take it easy.” The crowd then chanted, “Let them play!” and the band ended up completing a shortened set. Watch it all play out below.
