PREMIERE: Major Leagues Show Us Life On The Road With New ‘Better Off’ Video

Brisbane indie four piece Major Leagues are back with their new video for Better Off, a playful and scuzzy window into the band’s off the stage antics which perfectly accompanies the track’s jangly guitar laden pop rock.

The first we’ve heard from them since their recent single Someone Sometime, Better Off has everything we love and have come to expect from the plucky Queenslanders.

Featuring camera phone footage of the band just generally lolling about, you’ve got to give them points for economy when it comes to video production. It’s ’90s as all hell and reminds me of some early clips by Blind Melon and The Flaming Lips only more lo-fi. It’s going to look great on Rage.

With Someone Sometime doing so well on Australian radio, being put on rotation at triple j for six months and getting plenty of love from community stations like FBI, RRR and other, Better Off looks to continue that trend in a visual format, the band hitting their stride with their down to earth DIY aesthetics.

Anyway check the video out for yourself here below, and don’t forget to catch them when they tour with Canadians Alvvays in March.
