Brissie based pysch-rock outfit/eternally well-dressed fashionistas Moses Gunn Collective are about to take Dream Girls, the first single of their upcoming debut album, around the country to dazzle the masses and ahead of the Sydney kick-off this weekend, are today premiering the music video for it, right here on Music Feeds.
Featuring the loveable bunch in Mr Burns-esque sleepwear, lounging around in a group spoon, guarded by their faithful unicorn bouncers, the new vid kicks it up a notch with the kind of slick dance moves that would easily take out first prize at a regional school eisteddfod. No it doesn’t make any sense, but have you met these guys? Kinda their thing tbh…
“This clip is the next instalment in Moses Gunn Collective’s exploration of shoe box cinema; film restrained to one tiny room and minimal sets and props,” the band tells us.
“Filmed in our lounge room (as most of our clips have been!) on a tiny budget, we wanted to create a beautiful and disturbing dream sequence with the help of some gorgeous dancing unicorns. Filmed/directed/edited by the wonderful Jennifer Embelton.”
Check out the clip below and make sure to see the snazzy buds on their single tour, dates and deets underneath.
