PREMIERE: Mouth Tooth’s Stunning Double EP ‘Group Therapy / Memory Foam’

Mouth Tooth is a duo made up of Melbournian filmmakers slash musicians Rhys Mitchell and Max Turner. They released their first EP Group Therapy back in 2013, and today they are combining that with their brand new release Memory Foam, in the form of double EP Group Therapy / Memory Foam, which we have the pleasure of bringing to your ears today.

The double EP features a stunning collection of songs so sparse and lethargic they make you feel like the world around you has started to spin a little slower. They draw you into their spacious, reverb-laden, icy-airy textures and lazy vocals, painting a beautiful sonic landscape that instills you with the calmest of calms. And guys, let’s face it, we certainly all need a little more of that.

Take it from folk musician Devendra Banhart, who described their set at a show they shared as “transcendental” – a beautiful place in which he wished he could never leave.

Group Therapy / Memory Foam is out today. Treat your ears to a stream of the record here below.
