Prince will be doing a second Brisbane show at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre on Saturday, 26th May, just over one week after his Friday 18th May concert at the same venue. Tickets will go on sale at 10am on the 23rd of April; this will be his final show in Brisbane.
Tickets for each city went on sale last Monday, with extra shows being hastily announced for both Sydney and Melbourne. Promoter Garry Van Egmond spoke about the demand for a second show in Brisbane: “The demand for a second Brisbane concert was obvious and we’re delighted we’ve been able to juggle the touring schedule and successfully negotiate a Saturday night, one week later”, he said. “We really wanted a Saturday night for those fans who would need to travel. The itinerary will not allow for a third concert, and this will definitely be the last Prince show for Brisbane.”
Prince is one of music’s most iconic superstars and true rock’n’roll royalty. Last touring here in 2003, this will be his third visit to Australia, and it is destined to be one of the best concert events we’ve had in years.
