AraabMuzik has been shot during an attempted robbery in Rhode Island. Early reports suggested the offenders were attempting to steal the hip hop producer’s chain but an official police report is yet to surface.
At the moment the few details that do exist have come from AraabMuzik’s manager DukeDaGod and hip hop artist Avatar Darko, who recorded the brand new track Vampire with AraabMuzik and Nacho Picasso.
DukeDaGod posted an Instagram image (embedded below) of AraabMuzik in a hospital bed surrounded by loved ones with the caption, “Everyone wish my brother @araabmuzik a healthy & pleasant recovery!!!!”
Meanwhile Avatar Darko took to his Twitter account, posting two tweets about the shooting. Darko’s second tweet says AraabMuzik (real name Abraham Orellana) wouldn’t give in to the robbers demands before he was shot:
“My lil brodi too trill! They tried to rob him and he ain’t come up off his shit so they tried get him outta there! He meant to be here! Foh!”
