Purple Sneakers ‘Can’t Say’, 29/07/2011

Would you like to come to the party… with… the pants? The pants… Party with the Pants? – Yes, we’re trying to say there’s a party in our pants and you’re invited!

And with more reasons for you to come to this party, than you can poke a stick or something else of equal pointy-ness at, then we can’t really see why you wouldn’t be there!

The Half-Man, Half-Machine life-force that is HARRIS ROBOTIS will be gracing us with his unique and ever-evolving approach to electronic dance music.

With an upbringing playing in various punk and garage bands at a tender age, it’s Harris’ broad understanding of music in general that sets him apart from the DJ frenzy that seems to be a common occurrence in today’s scene.

Having done remixes for Goose, DJ Rockid / Jaimie Fanatic, Raziek, Van She and Act Yo Age, that were received with glowing reviews, it wasn’t long before Harris was snapped up by Australian Dance Music Label ‘Sweat it Out’

He’s supported some of the biggest names in the bizz, such as Tiga, The Bloody Beetroots, Justice, Boy8bit, Digitalism, MSTRKRFT, Boysnoize, D.I.M, Sinden, Fake Blood, Headman, Surkin, The Rapture, Crookers and Sven Vath – to name a few!

One half of Melbourne’s Disco Duo – We:Are:Fans – Harris is sure to bring elements of all genre’s of dance that will have you movin’ and shakin’ till the wee hours of the morning!

If that wasn’t enough to wet your whistle, Melbourne’s charismatic and fast paced self-confessed ‘progressive pop’ group DEJA will also be putting on a live show like no other. Drawing influences from a never-ending spectrum of talents like Royskopp right through to The Presets. The group find a healthy blend between digital and organic music, that is bound to entice people who come from various musical preferences and genres.

With supports from BACKYARD DJ’s and WEDNESDAY THE RAT, you should all know where you are going to come Friday Night… Where’s that you ask?
