One dose of Maynard James Keenan not enough for you frenzied fans heading along to Soundwave 2013? Well, then, for those attending the sold-out Soundwave festival in Sydney and Adelaide we have some great news! As well as performing as part of headlining act A Perfect Circle, Keenan will also be fronting one of his other creations, Puscifer.
Earlier in the month fans noticed a special guest slot on stage 3 for both Sydney and Brisbane Soundwaves. It is possible that Puscifer are those special guests for Sydney, at least, however Soundwave’s official website still shows that 2:20-3:00pm time slot open. The more probable move behind the inclusion of Puscifer is the removal of Six Feet Under, who had to pull out after their drummer was in a dirtbike accident.
Whatever the reason, Sydney and Adelaide fans should be in for a weird and wonderful treat, with Puscifer having a reputation for putting on a unique and memorable stage show. Puscifer will also be performing their own headlining shows after recently releasing their new EP Donkey Punch The Night.
