Puscifer’s New ‘Toma’ Video Will Give You A MJK Fix

As we wait for Tool to settle a time-consuming and resource-draining tangle of lawsuits that keep their new album in limbo, frontman Maynard James Keenan has been keeping busy. His project Puscifer recently launched a brand new website and to celebrate, the band have shared a new video for Toma.

The track was one of the highlights of the band’s 2011 album, Conditions of My Parole, and the clip, nearly three years in the making, it just as bizarre as the album. Directed by photographer Tim Cadiente, the clip features two trouble-making luchadores played by actors Jacob Vargas and Clifton Collins, Jr.

While there’s been no official word of a new Puscifer album, Keenan took to Instagram in September of last year to assure fans that “music is happening on all fronts“, hashtagging his three projects, Tool, A Perfect Circle, and Puscifer, even ending the message with the unfairly teasing hashtag #tool2014.

However, as Tool guitarist Adam Jones revealed back in July, there’s no telling just when a new Tool album will see its way into the hands of eager fans. According to Jones, the band are currently embroiled in a convoluted string of lawsuits with a graphic artist and the band’s own insurance company.
