Queen Have Launched A ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ Beer

Yep, English rockers Queen have announced their very own beer, called Queen Bohemian Lager. The new brew, which is named after the 1975 Queen classic Bohemian Rhapsody, has been released into the wild to mark the song’s 40-year anniversary.

As NME reports, Queen Bohemian Lager is being brewed in the Czech Republic, and the bottle features the Queen crest which was designed by late singer Freddie Mercury.

The drip is being described as a “golden hoppy” beer, and its name also has a connection to the Bohemia region of the Czech Republic, which became a centre for brewing the pale pilsner lager in the middle of the 19th century.

It’s not yet known if Queen Bohemian Lager will enhance those random performances of Bohemian Rhapsody we all find ourselves in from time to time, but it just might. Relive the original track alongside some photos of the new beer, below.

Queen Bohemian Lager comes only months after the band released a vodka called Killer Queen Vodka in honour of the 40th anniversary of the single of the same name.
