Victoria’s Rainbow Serpent Festival will be back in 2017 to celebrate its 20th anniversary, with a huge lineup of international acts in tow.
The 2017 lineup will be led by headliners Simon Posford (Shpongle & Hallucinogen) of the UK, Germany’s Extrawelt, D-Nox & Beckers and Perfect Stranger of Israel. They’ll be rounded out by Ott & The All Seeing I, Avalon, ANNA, WEHBBA, CID INC DJ Pena, Symphonix and heaps more.
But it’s more than just music; with Rainbow Serpent offering a taste of the best in arts, a food bazaar, ceremonies and guest speakers, massage and healing, a permaculture garden and heaps more.
The open air trance festival, which has grown to become one of Victoria’s most well-known electronic music parties, will return to its Lexton venue in rural Victoria despite police calling into question the future of Rainbow Serpent earlier this year. The 2016 edition saw 45 drivers caught under the influence of drugs and arrested five for drug trafficking in and around the festival.
Rainbow Serpent 2017 will go down from Friday, 27th January and wrap up on Monday, 30th of January at a farm in Lexton, Victoria. Tickets are on sale now, and for more ticketing information see below.
