Rat Vs Possum’s Maiden Sydney Voyage

Melbourne’s tribal-psych quartet Rat Vs Possum are bringing their tropical glitter circus to Sydney for the first time, as part of Bloggers’ Delight, presented by Who The Hell Are They at Mum @ World Bar on Friday 25th September with Megastick Fanfare, Fergus Brown and the Winter People.

Growing out of the Melbourne DIY warehouse party circuit, Rat Vs Possum is made up of four friends who like floor toms, vocal harmonies, pop music, experimental music, drum samplers, casio keyboards, jangly guitars, loop pedals, glitter, healthy food promoting, hugging, dancing, collaborating and celebrating.

Playing their own blend of music that teeters on the edge of experimental pop music and performance art, the last six months has seen the band line the entire interior of a Melbourne venue with over 300 meters of bubble wrap, perform live film scores and create interactive, rainbow light experiments that have to be seen to be believed, simultaneously packing out venues all over their home city.
