Ratatat have just announced a run of Australian east coast shows alongside their upcoming appearances at The 25th Meredith Music Festival and Fairgrounds Festival in Berry NSW.
The rocktronica duo will be playing shows in Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne, and in that order. As the band’s first Australian shows since 2011 when they were here for Big Day Out, they are dubbing the tour as ‘Australique’ – a play on the title of their latest album Magnifique.
The duo are known for their innovative approach to electronica, and meshing it with live instrumentation. Their live shows are also an audio visual feast with the band often programming their own visuals.
