Red Hot Chili Peppers’ ‘Under The Bridge’ Location Revealed?

Written by John Ritchie on May 25, 2012

The location of the Bridge Anthony Kiedis sings about in the Red Hot Chili Peppers famous song Under the Bridge may have been located. A very keen reporter at Vulture believes he may have tracked down the exact bridge (pictured below) where Keidis “drew some blood” and “could not get enough” before he ‘gave his life away’. The reporter used references from Anthony Kiedis’ Scar Tissue biography and old maps of LA to track-down “the bridge downtown” in MacArthur Park. Although the park might not look like the place you pictured Kiedis would be shooting up speedballs with “fucking gangsters”, according to reports, the park was in fact a drug hot spot in the late 80s.

Kiedis has refused to reveal the real location of the bridge on numerous occasions, and when reps for the RHCP were contacted for confirmation on the MacArthur Park theory, they yet again refused to comment. Check out the full article over at Vulture and let us know if you are convinced:
