Red Hot Chilli Peppers Reschedule Tour As Anthony Kedis Sustains Injury

During their US tour, the Red Hot Chilli Peppers have been forced to reschedule their tour due to a recently sustained foot injury by their lead singer Anthony Kedis.

The singer was forced to have surgery on his foot to remove a crushed sesamoid bone and correct a detached flexor tendon. Ouch! The dates, scheduled in for next week, have been pushed back into April. This may cause some issues for their 2012 Australian Tour, which according to bassist Flea, would still be happening

We are coming, I looked at my tour schedule and it’s there next year. I don’t know the dates, I’m sorry, but we are coming. Without doubt, we will come … and rock … like untethered beasts

The Band recently released their album I’m With You, which was their first with new guitarist Josh Klinghoffer.
