The heavy-alternative kids join an ass-kicking lineup of local guitar-based acts including The Vanns, The Snowdroppers, Lepers And Crooks, Polish Club and more at the bush bash, which is set to go down in just under five weeks.
ICYMI: 2017 marks the festival’s triumphant return following a thirty-plus year absence from the Aussie festival scene. The event was originally set to take place in Ourimbah’s Forest Of Tranquility, but after an “overwhelming” response from fans it was moved to the larger, camping-friendly venue Mt Penang Parklands, the home of Mountain Sounds.
Organisers have also announced that all of this year’s bands will play at least one song from bands who played the original Narara Festival, some of which include INXS, The Divinyls and Angels.
In a nod to the OG, Narara 2017 will have no glamping or market stalls or yoga or any of the other BS that comes with many modern day festivals, with the promoters wanting to keep the focus solely on the quality of music.
