Rob Zombie To Begin Recording New Record In June

All-round scary dude, Rob Zombie has proclaimed that work on a new record will begin in June.

As reported by Banana, Rob is currently wrapping up production on his latest horror flick The Lords of Salem, after which he will be performing as part of a co-headlining tour with Megadeth during May.

Once that’s all done, R. Zombie and his band of Piggy D (bass), Ginger Fish (drums) and John 5 (guitar) will return to the studio and begin work on a new studio album.

“As production on THE LORDS OF SALEM ends, it is time for music… We will be packing up the band and moving to remote location to record. No distractions, just music,” Rob Zombie posted on his website.

The Lords of Salem is written and directed by Rob Zombie. With a tentative release for later this year, the film is developed around a 300-year-old coven of witches that terrorize a modern day Salem, Mass. If it’s anything like 2003s House of 1000 Corpses, you might just shit your pants…
