Sam Smith has thrown some shade Radiohead‘s way during a press conference following his Golden Globe win for Best Original Song.
Smith scooped the gong for his tune Writing’s On The Wall, which formed the theme song for the latest Bond flick, Spectre.
During his post-victory press chat, the Stay With Me tunesmith was quizzed about his reaction to Thom Yorke‘s decision to release Radiohead’s alternate (but ultimately rejected) Spectre theme song on Christmas Day.
“Thom Yorke?” he replied, apparently in either legitimate or else douchebag-ily feigned confusion, before turning to his Writing’s On The Wall co-writer Jimmy Napes for answers.
After Napes appeared to shed some light on Yorke’s mysterious identity, Smith replied: “Yeah, I was a little bit surprised… But I haven’t listened to it **personally** because **I** did the Spectre theme song.”
Burrrrrrrn.
Somebody call the karma police.
