Sampa The Great Announces Tour Dates In Support Of New Project ‘HERoes’

Sampa The Great has announced two special Australian shows to celebrate the announcement of a new project called HERoes.

Sampa has announced shows in Sydney and Melbourne, which will give fans a chance to check out some of her new material live and, of course, get down to her classics.

The African-born and Aussie-based rapper has recently been teasing fans with HERoes, which is said to be “an exploration into self discovery and strength from within”, and the most exciting thing is that we’re not really sure exactly what HERoes is right now. It’s being billed as, “The start of an exciting narrative, series of songs and collaborative projects for Sampa the Great.”

Tomorrow, Sampa will debut a spoken word video, but that’s about all we know at this stage. You can check out a teaser of that below.

There have been tracks released here and there throughout the past year, but we haven’t had a full-length project from Sampa since her breakthrough mixtape The Great Mixtape, released last year.

We’ll have to sit tight and wait to see exactly what HERoes brings, but at least we’ve got these shows to look forward to.

Check out the dates below.
