SBTRKT, the musical project of South London producer Aaron Jerome, will return to Australia this year for sets on the Field Day, Southbound and Falls Festivals and has now announced another two headlining sideshows in Melbourne and Sydney in 2015, presented by Music Feeds.
As well as his festival sets, the producer will showcase new tunes from his latest album Wonder Where We Land at Melbourne’s Forum Theatre on Wednesday January 7th and then Sydney’s Enmore on Thursday January 8th.
Having first dipped his toes into Australia waters back in 2011 with a DJ tour, SBTRKT has become a regular visitor to our shores in recent times having already smashed prestigious slots at Laneway Festival, Falls Festival, Southbound, Field Day and a smattering of sold out headlining shows.
Wonder Where We Land is the follow-up to SBTRKT’s 2011 eponymous debut and is due out on September 29th in the US, with an international release date expected around that time. Earlier this year, he released the Transistions series of EPs, plus a new song called Temporary View featuring Sampha, which will also feature on the album. The album features collaborations with Vampire Weekend frontman Ezra Koenig, Jessie Ware, Chairlift’s Caroline Polachek and A$AP Ferg.
