The unfortunate side to any large-scale concert has reared its ugly head for Radiohead’s 2012 Australian tour. The selfish people who call themselves ‘scalpers’ have already attempted to start flogging their tickets for exuberant prices (See Below). The tour, which was announced this morning via triple j, will see the kings of alternative music play a select few dates on the East Coast, following in the footsteps of most other festivals and concerts, and screwing over the West.
After pre-sale tickets had sold out in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane earlier today, scalpers hit eBay trying to charge up to $849 for tickets . In an attempt to stop scalping, Chugg Entertainment are not delivering the tickets for quite some time to ensure that they cannot sell something they do not have.
Another round of tickets will be released to the public on Thursday…

Friday 9 November – Brisbane Entertainment Centre
Monday 12 November – Sydney Entertainment Centre
Tuesday 13 November – Sydney Entertainment Centre
Friday 16 November – Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne
Saturday 17 November – Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne.
