Seabellies Announce New Album ‘Fever Belle’

Alt rock quintet Seabellies have been getting international of late, with the members of the band traipsing off to different countries, exploring the world and then coming together in Berlin, Sydney and Melbourne to create their soon to be released sophomore album, Fever Belle.

The record, which is the follow-up to 2010’s By Limbo Lake, was produced with help from Simon Berkleman of Philadelphia Grand Jury fame and Aussie legend Tim Whitten, who’s worked with the likes of The Go-Betweens, Powderfinger and Augie March. The result is a truly worldly sounding number, which you’ll know all about already if you’ve caught the first single, It’s Alright.

And Seabellies haven’t quite kicked the travel bug, with the outfit hitting the road in support of the record. Their east coast It’s Alright tour kicks off tonight in their hometown of Newcastle, before taking in the sights in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.

Fever Belle is out Friday, 18th October.
