Selena Gomez Announces First Ever Australian Headline Tour Dates

Disney darling Selena Gomez is headed Down Under for the very first time.

And she’s dropped the bombshell on us at pretty short notice for an international pop chanteuse, less than three months out from coming over.

Taylor Swift’s BFF will touch down on Aussie soil this August for a trio of headlining dates as part of her worldwide Revival tour, celebrating her Billboard #1 charting new album.

But there’s some bad news for non-East Coasters: the Wizards Of Waverly Place star will only performing in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.

But if you can successfully beg your folks to fly you to one of those dates, then you’ll also get to see *one* of fellow Disney graduates, the Jonas brothers!

But soz ladies, it’s not Nick.

Joe Jonas’s new band DNCE will be warming up the stage for Gomez in Sydney and Melbourne, off the back of their debut EP, SWAAY.

The tour marks the popette’s first trip to Australia without former flame, Justin Bieber.

“It was crazy because it’s something I always wanted to do and that was the intention and kind of getting everything reorganised in my life so it’s so fun to know that that’s going to be a place I get to be and enjoy and it’s new in a way,’ she told Nova back in February.

Tickets to Selena Gomez’s Revival Australian Tour go on sale from 10am, Wednesday, 1st June with an exclusive presale for Telstra customers kicking off from Friday, 27th May and running until 3pm Sunday, 29th May.
