Sia Announces First Live Concert In Five Years

Written by Emmy Mack on January 5, 2016

Beloved Aussie popstar and notorious recluse Sia will perform her first live concert in five years this August.

Sadly though, it won’t be on home turf.

The Alive tunemason has been announced on the bill for Finland’s Flow Festival, which runs from August 12th – 16th this year, alongside the likes of m83, Jamie xx and Chvrches.

The milestone performance comes hot on the heels of the release of her sixth studio LP This Is Acting, the follow-up to her superstar-making album 1000 Forms Of Fear.

Though the camera-shy popstar has delivered several breathtaking performances on TV in recent times, this will mark the first time she’s opened her lungs live on a concert stage in half-a-bloody-decade, which makes it kind of a big deal.

No word on whether she’ll be performing with a paper bag over her head, but we’ll keep you updated.

Hopefully this is a sign of beautiful things to come, and not just a one night stand.

Don’t toy with our emotions, Sia.
