On the 12thDecember, the winning DJ will have the unique opportunity to step up to the decks to play their own 30 minute set to continue the electric festival vibe.

Long time dance floor-fillers and Singapore favourites, Bang Gang Deejays, Jamie Doom and Gus Da Hoodrat, are fronting the search and have been charged with the task of selecting the winning DJ.

“ Any self respecting DJ should have Singapore at the top of their list of places they want to play. We’ve played Singapore three times now and it’s just awesome – their venues rival any club in New York, London or Paris, the crowds know how to have a good time and the vibe of the place is just electric ,” says Gus.

“ZoukOut is one of the festivals when the best of music, dance and art combine and the setting is simply unrivalled. We are looking for a DJ that is on par with the high calibre of DJ’s they are used to and have an understanding of the tracks that are going to fill a  dancefloor- you’re playing to a crowd that likes to party.”

To enter, local DJs have to submit a five minute original mix and answer the question ‘Why do you want to party at ZoukOut 2010?’ in 25 words or less to enter.  The Zoukout DJ Search opens on 15 November  and closes 30 November.
