Skrillex And Flume Collaboration On The Horizon?

While master of gravity Sonny Moore, known to most as shaven-headed dubstep purveyor Skrillex, is in the country over the New Year’s period to make crowds move at Shore Thing and Beachlife festivals, the man took time out for some interviews, during which he hinted at working with Flume.

“Flume is coming into the studio tomorrow,” Moore told Veronica and Lewis on Triple J (see below). “I’ll be seeing him tomorrow, so maybe we’ll make something, who knows? I mean technically What So Not is the artist on the [Shore Thing] lineup, so maybe we can all do something together.”

The superstar producer also opened up on the cancellation of his appearance at this year’s Stereosonic festival, where he was set to perform as Dog Blood alongside collaborator Boys Noize, but according to a statement dropped out in order to finish working on new material.

“I had to finish these records,” he said, “a lot of people thought it was because I was being lazy or didn’t want to come, but it was literally the hardest decision to say no…. I’ve never played Stereo before but the festival always looked really legendary and really dope.”
