Slayer have announced that they will be performing but one sidewave while in town for Soundwave 2013. Fortunately for us New South Welshmen and Women, the show will be taking place in Sydney.
Easily one of the biggest bands not only in metal, but in the world, they themselves need no introduction or write-up whatsoever. After 30 years of thrashing around stages all over the world, the band have released 10 studio albums and secured themselves a cult-like following and an unchallenged reputation as absolute masters.
Soundwave took to Facebook to announce the show, though are yet to announce who will be opening for the legends. We can, however, tell you that tickets will be up for grabs Wednesday, 19th December.
It looks as though the band will be making up for lost time after pulling out of the Soundwave performance last year after Tom Araya was hospitalised while in town.
